Dwarf on a Rocket

Perhaps drawing a dwarf strapped to a rocket is not the best idea.

Please understand that this is a character study for a computer game. This dwarf (as in the noble race of stone dwellers) propels himself around on a rocket and beats his foes into a pulp with his fists. Think Tolkien, not Jack-Ass… though I fear that this lies firmly in between.

I’ve compounded matters by drawing him to resemble one of my friends. This may in fact be met with approval… we shall see.

I think that my discomfort comes from the fact that I acquired the body model by googling “flying midget” which is pretty irredeemable. Apologies.

The part I’m proud of is that I managed this in 30 minutes to meet the deadline for a competition. My friend requested the content. I think its pretty solid for half an hour while answering phones.
